Personality: Walker is the best behaved of all the studs at Hound Halls. He's so quiet and mellow, he won't even bat an eyelash at a mare in heat without permission, and even then behaves like a gentleman. Very willing and ready to give his all, Walker is the definition of a good old boy. He's even been known to fall asleep while being clipped! He has a thick, drawling southern accent and is very popular with the mares!
Walker started out life as a Quarter Horse racer, where he was moderately successful, but nothing successful. He was retired young, but to keep him in shape, he was retrained for cross country, which is when he really began to shine. He became a grand success as he got older, and his owners often studded him out. He is a very strong sire; his foals tend to take after him in both build and personality.
He was sold to a trainer overseas, and when the boat crashed, he was one of the survivors. There he met the sisters Bird and Pinacolada, who stayed with him long enough to get in foal before being stolen by Fox, along with the lovely Tiki. All three had wonderful foals. Walker ran with a bachelor herd for a while, where one of the stallions, Fabio, became his shadow. After Moshi founded Hound Halls, he met one of the trainers' mares, Love Bite, who became smitten, and the two were granted a pasture of their own, along with Tigger. A popular nursemaid, even Fox trusts the amiable older stallion and listens to him when he speaks. Very quiet much of the time, Walker refers to the other stallions as 'kids' and is always there with a kind guiding word when necessary.
